Meika Cole is the founder and executive director of College Cultured, empowering inner-city high school students in Oakland County, Michigan. Through AI-driven guidance on college applications, scholarships, and cultural experiences, she simplifies the college selection process for families.
With a background as the owner of Travel N Bags LLC and a former Lead Contract Specialist for the Department of Defense. Meika is a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School (1998). She holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College (2006), a Bachelor's in Communication (2009), and a Master's in Communication with a minor in Critical Cultural Communication (2015) from Oakland University. Meika has served as a panelist for the State of Michigan Mothering Justice and was the Top Paper winner at the 2015 Michigan Communication Conferences at Central Michigan University.
Passionate about education, Meika founded College Cultured in 2025 to help urban students navigate the complexities of higher education successfully.

Dorothy Cole is a graduate of Pontiac Central High School (1972), Oakland Community College (1982) and William Tynsdale (Trinity International University). Dorothy attended the Tax Institution in 1992. She began Cole's Income Tax and Notary in 1993, and currently serves as a substitute teacher with Oakland Schools. With a deep commitment to financial stewardship, she oversees the organization’s financial management, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing critical insights into budget development and financial strategy.
Dorothy's extensive experience enables her to effectively manage financial reporting and audits, contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the organization. Her passion for supporting educational initiatives and empowering youth aligns seamlessly with the mission of College Cultured.
